DELF B2: Complete Guide
A practical DELF B2 guide focused on argumentation, production, interaction and the four skills.
France Éducation international describes DELF B2 as a level where candidates can defend an opinion with arguments and examples, develop a point of view, express cause and consequence, convince someone and self-correct.
The four skills
The current official B2 page lists listening, reading, writing and speaking components. Each is scored out of 25, with a minimum overall score and minimum score per skill required for the diploma.
What to practise
- Developing a point of view rather than listing ideas.
- Supporting claims with relevant examples.
- Handling interaction and follow-up.
- Understanding the main ideas of longer spoken and written material.
